The large living room with a sofa bed (1.40m) and a beautiful dining table invites you to relax. The wonderful wood-burning stove in the living room creates a cosy atmosphere and heats the flat, the guest is responsible for heating the flat with the wood-burning stove.

Kitchen

The holiday flat has a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare and bake a delicious meal. There is also a dishwasher.

Simone and Frédéric are delighted to present their chalet, with its pretty garden and magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and meadows.

"I'm a landscape gardener. I'm interested in ecological construction, drawing on my knowledge of historic architecture. I create my projects using materials from the past, drawing on the remarkable knowledge left to us by the Romans and the Middle Ages. I'm interested in a wide range of subjects, and knowledge is essential if I'm to achieve my goal."

Simone has a cheerful personality and charms with her kindness. She welcomes our guests to our wood-heated chalet, where its privacy is much appreciated.

"I love music and culture. Long walks keep me fit, and I enjoy Lake Thun or Oeschinensee to take a break from working." She's a cook of many talents.

We have a heart for people and love animals and nature.

LOCATION & ARRIVAL

By car arriving from the north
from Bern, take the A6 motorway, in the direction of Interlaken to Spiez, Kandersteg. Exit at Spiez, direction Kandersteg. Continue straight on for around 15 minutes until you reach after the villages Reichenbach and Frutigen, Kandergrund. The chalet is located at the beginning of the village at the right-hand side of the road, 50 m after the Bifigen bus station. The car parks on the meadow slope opposite the chalet, see photos.
By car from the south
from Italy, drive through the canton of Valais as far as Goppenstein. Take the car train to Kandersteg. From Kandersteg drive about 10 km towards Kandergrund, the chalet is on the left before you leave the village of Kandergrund, 50m before the Bifigen bus station. The car parks on the meadow slope, opposite the chalet, see photos.
By public transport
Take the train to Frutigen. Get off in Frutigen. Take the bus in the direction of Kandersteg. Get off at the station "Kandergrund, Bifige".
